3 Secret Public Speaking Tips for Entrepreneurs
As an entrepreneur, you have to be able to SPEAK about your business.
In a few sentences, you should be able to state:
- who you are
- what you do
- who you help
- the transformation you provide
As a yoga teacher, kundalini yoga practitioner, confidence junkie, I have infused these tips with some of the WOO that works.
If you are new to public speaking, here are 3 public speaking secrets for entrepreneurs.
1. NAVEL CENTER = COMMAND CENTER
Your navel center is your center of confidence, will power, determination and inner strength. When you speak from the navel center, people can't help but listen to you. (which is exactly what you want right?!)
To strengthen the navel center (manipura chakra), practice SAT KRIYA, Nabhi Kriya or Breath of Fire.
2. PRACTICE
Ok, this one's not so much a secret, but I invite you to practice in a different way. PROVE to your subconscious that you can do it. Here are three unique ways:
- Record yourself on your phone - Record yourself for 1 minute talking about who you serve, what you do and how you help people. LISTEN BACK
- Attend a women's circle - These are safe spaces to share your voice. This will prove to you that it is safe to be SEEN and HEARD, which are the deepest most subconscious fears for public speaking.
- FACEBOOK GROUPS - Facebook groups are great FREE spaces for you to practice. Many groups will allow you to go live (Read the rules first) to share about how you help people. Feel free to join my group - free challenges to pitch your business.
3. ENERGETICALLY PREPARE YOURSELF
Before I go live, I do a few things.

- Set my intention & the purpose of the speaking
- You are simply the channel and medium for the information you are about to share. It's not about you.
- Move into my body
- sufi grinds, neck rolls, navel center practices
